I've been bitten by a cat twice. It's NOT FUN! My hand swelled to twice it's size instantly and it was so painful for so long.

OK today's mission.... make a vat of tomato sauce. I got 8 cans of puree and paste and I should yield 12 quarts. That ought to hold us for a couple of months

I make a basic sauce - cook it for two days! - and this is the base for any specialty sauce for other types of dishes I make throughout the year.

Also on the to do list. Crocheting a pair of earings for the fair. I also need to put a bear together. He is in part yet.

Well, back in Feb we went (the 4 of us) to a show in the city. Before we even got to Mike's house, him and his new GF were shitfaced drunk. They both were all fucking shmoopy, obnoxious and loud all the way there, walking the streets and the worst was when we were in the bar for a drink before the show, the GF gets in a waitress's face and yells out "EXCUSE ME". When I say in her face, I mean 2 fucking inches in her face.

I told her she was out of line for that and she gave me shit how polite she was for saying excuse me. Matt and I apologized to the girl on our way out. I was mortified. The girl was near tears for it.

Anyway, we have not heard from Mike since the show.

So I sent him an email last night asking if we offended him.

Apparently the GF insists I told her what a bad mother she is at the show (ummmm it was loud, we weren't talking to each other during and they left early).

So I just gave him a load of my mind and told him if they weren't so drunk they may have remembered it differently. I only had two drinks the whole night. Matt had none, he drove.

anyway, he does this all the time when he hooks up with some asshole he meets on the internet. He drops his friends for the bitch but when he has no friends, he whines that he feels like a third wheel when we go out. I'm sick of being a part time friend and I told him so.

So now he says I should email him tonight after work. He's having issues there that they read his emails (family business with a psycho dysfunctional family). I told him no, he should call me if he wanted to keep the friendship going.

So if he don't call, he can fuck off. I will not call him.

I'm starting to think the same thing. I hate those kinds of games. Fuck him. I'm a goddamn good friend. If you need me in a pinch, I'm there. You need help with moving? I'm there, and I'll bring the truck. You remodeling? We're helping. If we get into an argument or disagreement, I can have a beer with you later and it's all good. Apparently ML is a twat who can't take criticism or have a heated discussion without her widdle feewings hurt. bitch.

I'm not so sure now that I can say the same for Mike, with or without a girlfriend.

Mike's going to have it handed to him and then he can piss off. I firmly believe if he valued our friendship he would have not chosen a woman he met three weeks before over us. He would have talked about it before making that decision.

I would never tell anyone they're a bad mother unless they were beating and abusing their kids. What kind of person does he think I am?

I'm also going to let him know who was there when his family set him up with an intervention and sent him to rehab (unnecessarilary - he's severe ADD and they think he's on drugs!) and he fucking went because his mom (who's 82) was crying and he capitulated just to keep the peace. They kidnapped him to rehab that day. I had no clue where he was until he called me from there. Who looked after his house while he was away? WE DID.

Fuck him. I hope I make him feel really bad.
