Anyone remember the Pro Keds Royal line of sneakers?

That's right, sneakers - not "athletic shoe".

Well, they were the rival to the Converse Chuck Taylor sneaker and I always liked them better. Those were THE sneaker back in the day. They disappeared for quite a few years and now they are back.

I remember going into Stride Rite shoes and buying the kids size for $13 / pair. Today they are $45 / pair - a bargain compared to the Chuck Taylor's at $65 / a pair

I ordered my low tops, black yesterday. The high tops always pull my socks down under my foot.
When white comes in stock in my size, I'll get me a pair of white too.

They have a size conversion chart on the site somewhere if anyone is interested. They don't come in ladies sizes.
Size 7 = mens' 5.5

I remember them, although all I wear is anything I can get for less than $15 at wal mart, and I'll run faster and jump higher than any of yous with your $100 nikes.

I never paid $100 for a pair of SNEAKERS or stupid "athletic shoes" on general principle.

"Run faster and Jump Higher" was the slogan for PF FLyers! I found where you can get them too.

Bah, I have like 3 pairs of sneakers, ones that are just about shot, like the next time they get wet they are going in the garbage, one pair that's in good shape that I wear, and and a brand new pair waiting to be put into service. A total of about $45 thanks to wal mart.
