You're welcome. Now if you want to go for couples only, I suggest Couples Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

My 2 cents.

We book online. We tried to use a travel agent, and it was really alot more.

I use yahoo travel and I look at resort site. This year I found that yahoo travel was cheeper.
We have never had trouble booking online. Just make sure you read everything and check the right boxes, and use a credit card. That way have way to get things fixed.
We are going for 12 days 11 night. We got everything for under $2000.00
That is air fair, resort, food, drinks, and the a ride from the airport to the resort.
I also have a really great flight. No stops. We leave at 9:30 our time and we should get to the resort before noon. The flight out is at 2:30 in the afteroon. That way we don't lose days for travel. More time on the beach.

Spend some time on line and check out the travel sites. That is what I do.
I check everyday. Sometimese 2 or 3 times a day. Cause the price will change during the day. I make a list on excell to keep track.

Also if you find a flight you like, go to the web page for airlines and price it there and check on how many seats they have. You will be able to see if the flight is booking up. Then you can see when you need to book.
Oh, one more thing, the closer to you get to when you want to leave it may get cheeper, But you can loose your good flight.

I check our trip today and it has gone up from over the weekend. So we got a good deal and we are happy with it.

So, you got me looking around at these deals now. I checked out a few, was actually kind of kicking around the idea of going somewhere.
But as I'm looking I have to wonder, just what would the urine content of the pool be that has the swim up bar?

Swim in the beach! They bring you drinks on the beach in those places. The swim up bar is not that big a deal. Why would you go to the Caribbean and swim in a freakin' pool anyway? The water is gorgeous and warm.

Not sure. I try not to think about it.
I get out and use the bathroom.
We sit on the beach most of the time.

I forgot to say, I also break it down. To see how much it is per day.
I take the total take out the airfair, then devide it by the number of days.
To see how much it is per day.
I found the trip this year for less then last year. And I add one more day.

LOL- Hubby says February is Cardigan Season, when did you go?
We went in September/October. Sara his friend who lives there said we were mad- but we were lucky arriving after one hurricane and leaving just before the next hit. Fantastic holiday- didn't know Mark had so many 'cousins' living there!

I guess you are right- people I've spoken who book hotel/ all inclusives are getting some good deals, book 7 days get 7 days free.

Although Tahnee came in to tell me she had a great time in Egypt for 3 weeks (she is one of our 'care in the community patients' bless her) her parents took her and paid for 10 days got 11 days free. The down side was it was Ramadan....so no services in the hotel from dawn to dusk!
So check out the local calender before booking.

She had a ball, but her parents went down with food poisoning within 3 days and missed all but the last day of the holiday. We had given her a list of do's and don'ts to Tahnee which she listened to and made sure she stuck to, but her parents 'knew best'.
They had ice in their drinks ate nothing but cold food and fruit.
She ate from her 'tuckbox' and only hot food and drinks- even though it was 101 degrees.

I keep getting deals on Egypt now too. REALLY cheap deals. I figure part of that is because travel to the Mid East is a lot slow due to the war there and all the upset between everyone. They hate us, each other and those they haven't met yet!

I think we were there in like March or April, chilly and sunburned all at the same time.
