Over the weekend, Bruce picked up a Blu-ray player for the TV.

Well he set it up. It is a cool one, it takes the old dvd's and up them to HD. Well close to HD
I can get movies from netflix online.

Well any ways, I put in a old DVD of RED Speedwagon in it to see how it works.

Well it is really cool, It is like they are playing in my livingroom. I have the sound turned up!!!!

Ok, back to my dancing in the living room with REO.

Oh, it is a Sony with WiFi build in.

How much are they and what kind of a TV do you need to run blu ray?

We paid $200.00 for the player.
We have a 60inch HD tv. It is also a sony.

I still go to the Goodwill store for VCR tapes and old records. I may go down in history as the most inept man at modern influence, but my movies are still 50 cents each. Still I cannot tell the difference between a movie on CD as compared to one on tape. Maybe its all about substance, or the abuse of it, and the realization that most new movies suck.

okey dokey... will keep my eyes open for this new toy for X-mas LK loves his stereo toys and if the price starts to slide you never know what santa might bring muwahahaha.... I love to spoil roomies.. (especially if I benefit from it)

Check into that system for compatibility and propriatary properties. Sometimes those Sony systems only work with other Sony components. <- That comes from Matt who does that audio/video stuff for a living.

Hey in the winter, we don't do to much.
So TV is big here. We watch a bunch of movies. So having a big TV and a Blueray player, is just what we do in the winter.

We can now watch, movies from netfixs right away.
