There isn't a cat on the planet that does not love wrapping it's paws around something and beating the crap out of it . Well, don't waste money on expensive toys that are usually too small for your cat and not strong enough. Make your own Kitty Attack Sock!
All you need:
1 old sweat sock.
Stuffing (buy it by the big bag in the sewing / craft store)
LOTS of catnip (grow your own and dry it, you can yield a little over a pint this way)

Pull out the fluff and add a lot of catnip to it:

Make a knot in the top to seal it and roll it in your hands to distribute the catnip into the fluff.
Finished product:
