I see Cardinals here all the time, they are lots easier to spot if I fill the bird feeders. A full feeder has the coming out of the woodwork, winter or summer.

0 I don't fill any kind of feeders here. With all the cats it's like setting up bait for them. They've perfected Blue Jay killing.
They will come across the yard getting pecked to death then they'll roll over onto their backs and catch the bird while it's trying to peck cat belly!
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 Sometimes there will just be a couple feathers and some bird seed laying there, you know the poor bird was taken down right off the feeder.

0 My cat would dive to his death if he ever jumped my feeder, it's about 40 feet to the pool concrete. On second thought that bastard would probably only breaks a leg and make me dish out money. I usually only feed the birds in the winter anyways. My pansy assed cat does not like snow so much. And has learned that jumping on a hot woodstove is not a great idea either.
Gimme dat filet-0-fish............gimme dat feesh.

Sounds just like mine, that hot woodstove is a fast lesson learned isn't it? Now back to the pig roast. I have a humming bird feeder, if it goes empty the humming birds get angry, I can tell by they way they look at me and fly off in a huff. Anyway, the damn ants can find that sugar water anywhere, last year I started hanging it on the power wire between the house and garage, the ants were at a loss. This year though there is a steady trail of ants running across that power line to the feeder. You gotta wonder how they do it. I mean I gotta use a ladder to hang that feeder. A human could be starving to death and have a cheeseburger on the other side of an unlocked door and wouldn't be able to find it, you kinda have to admire the little ant bastards. |
