We were out on the boat the other night. Having a good night watching the sunset and relaxing and talking. Well the sun set and we were heading back home. It is getting a bit dark. So I said to Bruce turn on the lights. Ok he turns them on. Well it is hard to see the fron bow light from inside the boat. But when I get out to tie the boat to the dock, I say no bow light. He says now. No still no light.
Ok, well maybe the light bulb is bad. We decided to check I get on the front of the boat, with screw driver. Take it apart. I tell him I don't know how to get the bulb out. Bruce take over. I hear well shit someone took the f----- light bulb!!!!!

I want to know how bad they needed a light bulb!
They had to take it off the boat and take out the light bulb and then put it back together.

And we can't go out on the boat at night untill we fix it.

That sucks!!!!!!!!

We have lost 4 recycling bins at work, why does someone keep stealing those? The council gives them out free!

Someone has been messing with No1 son's motorbike setting the alarm off. We were told they hope we will turn the alarm off one night so they can then take it. It's stored behind the camper (which it is also chained to) so without moving 2 bins and a chain before setting off the alarm it is going more bother for who ever. Anyway can't turn the alarm off, it bleeps when he is just moving it about when it's not running (when it is just as noisy).

If their boat is like most, it's an automotive bulb in the bow light fixture. Usually a 1056. It's used as a single element tail light bulb on MANY cars.

Just got back from the store.
We picked up a whole new one. LED light!! Now we just have to install it on the boat.

Thinking about sleeping on the boat for a few nights. Won't they be surprized to see someone on the boat with a gun!!

Sadly, they already got you so its unlikely they will be bothering your boat again anytime soon.

It's just pathetic that whoever did it is that damned cheap. I mean hell, if you can afford the boat you can damn sure afford to replace the light when needed.

What are they going to do when it comes time to do engine maintainence? Go steal one from another boat?

No it is a olde boat. We just picked up a new LED light for it.

We think who ever took the light bulb had to have done it when we took the boat to be fixed.

I need to go out and take it apart and clean up the boat under and around the old light.

I've probably done stuff like that to myself a time or two, taken the bulb out for some unknown reason then forgot about it, then I have to blame someone else. Damn kids will steal anything these days.
