I'm exhausted.

The pool is swim ready.
The lawn is cut.
BBQ grill ready to grill.
Grape vine has been pruned and treated.
Weeds are done.
inside of truck is spotless. Outside is next.
Screen house is up, almost finished. The bugs halted progress until the morning.
Matt is making dinner now that I got all the melons cut up and made into melon salad.
I'm tan. VERY, VERY tan. Matt is so burned he looks like someone drew all over him with red magic markers.

Yeah....I thought I was posting in the Don't Eat It Steve thread. OOPS.

Had a gig at a benefit for veterans returning from Iraq Saturday evening and had some friends over for a BBQ today. Tomorrow will be a lay around and do whatever or maybe just lay around day.

nothing much. Mom's birthday is tomorrow but everybody is either working or camping or out of town.
Had 2 nieces and their very nice boyfriends over for lunch and birthday cake. they spent most of the time out in the garage where my brother has set up a music studio of sorts. Took mom out for a while but it exhausted her. She's not doing to well right now. Good days and bad days.

Was going to tell you we sold the 96, the FVR and made some more space at last for the bikes in the drive.Biggrin Then the hamster was helping with the typing and found the delete button and the letter rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, which he likes.

That I got to the checkout in the supermarket without my purse Blush
Sue and my mother got me motivated into sorting out Christine's cupboards for the Women's Refuge Hug
We had lunch
The boys came back from the jumble with half a trailer of stuff sold and boughtDoh

Ray and Sue stayed for dinner and we finished off the chocolates we didn't put in baked bananas from the BBQ.

The BBQ was fun yesterday, Amanda (R&S's daughter, Jeff's baby sister) bitched about the other girls at the party and their fake tans Stirthepot Sue's measures on liquers equal wine glass measures! It was my turn to drive (just as well really) Bikers

Anyone needs help typing up reports Snowy can help, so long as he can used the rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr button!

Did a little more work today. It was 90 degrees by 10 AM here and stayed that way until about an hour ago. It's gorgeous 82 with a cool breeze coming off the bay.

I'm getting ready to grill up some chicken breasts for our dinner - BBQ ranch chicken salad. It's the summer of salads here.

We got the stereo working to play outside and we ALMOST had it set so we can watch TV out there. Would have loved a fire and the hockey game!

Storm is moving in now and Matt's outside battening down the hatches.
I got a full summer's worth of tan the two days spent outdoors. I'll have tan line pics for Twistie in a day when the tan settles into it's nice golden color.

I'm exhausted.

I got the towel stand sanded, puttied and ready to paint tomorrow and Matt has to spray the grapes before bed.

I have a wooden skull I want to fix to the top of the towel holder once it's painted. I just don't know how to do it yet.

The grill is working overtime, the vodka is 28 degree's and the day is hot as fire, everything is as it should be.
A resolution to avoid an evil is seldom framed till the evil is so far advanced as to make avoidance impossible.
