I am also very sad to report that I lost Scruffy this morning.
I'm pretty sure he was attacked by a fox, I got home as quick as I could. He was bad off, I took him in the back shed and stayed with him, talking to him and petting him. I never even got a chance to try to get him to the vet...he was gone.
I let him out of the house at about 4:30am and I saw him sitting under his tree when I left at 5, by 6am it was all over.
I saw a fox crossing the yard as I was finishing digging Scruff's spot in the yard. That fucker is gonna catch a bullet if he shows himself again.
Anyway, I'm not trying to take away anything from Mikki, it's just been a bad day.
