I was going to comment on how the Brits say aluminum as well. They add an extra 'I' in there and change it to 'aluminium'!
Drives me nuts.
They could have gotten a Mustang. Dodge didn't want to give them the Challenger so they went an bought one to use. I'm sticking to my theory on recently released muscle cars. Cadillac changed their style and all the car names and all the adverts were pointing to it's power and handling and not it's luxury as the primary desire in the car.
Mustang has not been out of production so saying it was a newly released car would have been a lie. The new 'Vette IS really nice and I'm not much of a 'Vette fan but if someone gave one to me I sure would not complain!
