They told us for a day or so that we are gonna get a bit of lake effect snow, you know mostly just the south towns, in ski country. Uh, yeah, wake up to 16 degrees and 2 feet of snow, the NYS thruway is closed from Rochester to PA. Just a little lake effect they said.

LOL That IS a little lake effect snow! They were saying you got bombed.

Those normal temps are for NYC - 30 miles north of me. I'm usually anywhere from 5º - 10º warmer than the "dividing line" of I-195 here. It's kind of freaky how the weather temps are actually divided by that highway here.
