Greetings from Troutville, VA......via Klingerstown, PA to Conover, NC and back north to Troutville 
They asked me just before I got done yesterday if I would do this trip (they were kinda stuck for a driver) and I jumped on it. Had to go home.....do a turn and burn (10 hours off log then right back to it) and be in Conover by 9 AM today. Made it there at 7:30 and they had me empty and rolling by 8:45!
Had JUST enough time left to get up here and can roll again at 9:30 tonight. That should put me back at the shop around 3:30 AM Friday morning. After filling the reefer tank, fueling the truck and finishing paperwork I should be in the pickup and heading home around 4:15. Then I don't have to do shit for the company till I call in on the 11th for my load on the 14th.
VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got stuff to do at home but I can sleep past 1 AM for the next 8 days. PLUS......I don't have to play in traffic
The timing works pretty well so that I won't really have to deal with holiday traffic. Maybe a little till around 11 PM but after that it should be like a friggin grave yard on the road. Works for me!
