You know, I like to support local shops, Mom & Pop outfits and all, but it's getting harder and harder to support these people. A new pool supplier opened up the road. Nice, convenient right? Well, they're fucking morons and they're over priced.
I walk in asking for stabilizer and I get a whole ritual on how to take care of the pool. I explain I only need stabilizer, I know what I'm doing etc and she hands me a bucket of stuff. I get home and it's not what I need. I bring it back and she's giving me a hard time about it. "We don't take chemicals back" - fuck you bitch you will now. She did and I got what I needed at quite a high price. Top it off she fucked up the return and returned the one thing twice, had to charge it back to my card and then charge me for the new product. So we all know that credit back on the card takes a few days. Dollar says she fucked it up worse than I imagine.
I won't be going there again. It's worth the gas and time to travel 25 miles to the "big store".
