i agree domestic violence goes both ways. over the years the number of females charged/arrested increased greatly. but the majority of incidents and homicides are male on female. the males have more of the 'drag-em-off-to-the-cave' neanderthal aggressive wiring. 
not ALL males of course!
my comment is simply in relation to issues of males who are unemployed and consider themselves somehow losers and identities threatened.
