People will create lies out of their lives and become spectators to their own existence. So focused are they/will be around their phones and social networking/staying connected that they will cease to actually not live in the moment.
Social networking for the few cognizant types has had profound usefulness and power, but, as usual, the public, the mob, the most of the population, has taken it and put it to ill use with ill effects.
I want the power grid to be destroyed.
I agree with you on the phones Gunnen. I love my smart phone but I do not let it rule my life. I find it funny that the 'drones' cannot put it down. I'm in a concert, they're in the row in front of me on Facebook! People walking down the street not looking where they're going, most likely on stupid Facebook too. They can't let it let alone turn it off for a couple hours!
It's like a mob mentality like you say. They're afraid they'll "miss something" if not connected to the frivolous chatter online. Proper conversation ceases to exist. You want the power grid to be destroyed, I want facebook to go down forever along with the other insipid social network sites.
