Ugh, both of those calibers are ridiculous in my opinion: try feeding it for a range session, or stocking up on ammo. I have a friend with a .50 Beowulf, and when he got the upper, he spent WAY MORE in ammo just to have ammo for it, much less ammo to shoot at the range. Fuck that nonsense.
Let me have 5.56/.223 Rem that I can stock on thousands of rounds of. Or buy cheap. Well, cheap a couple of weeks ago. I have plenty of ammo for it, and it is a common caliber I can readily find compared to others out there. There are two AR's, and Mini-14 in the house at the moment, with plenty, and I mean plenty, of ammo to feed them.
Go practical before having *fun*.
Of course, I live in a free state, so I could literally buy the most evil thing on the market with high capacity mags and be a saint and get a slap on the back for doing it.
