Breakthrough? If that's a problem for you then you must be cheaping out and trying to use just one square. You know......just like Sheryl Crow suggested.
Somebody needs to market a TP with a name like "Soft N' Sturdy".
Promos could tout that it's gentle to use but tough to push through. Kinda like paper towel ads where they wet them then lift stuff up.
They could use a catch phrase like: "We're number one in the number two business!"
