Parkway and Turnpike are two different things. Not the same as an interstate highway. Parkway is pretty. Tree lined, cars only. At least it used to be until they let trucks go on for a certain stretch of it. Turnpikes are for the trucks and cars, commercial traffic. These are the "main thoroughfares" that run the length of the state north/south here in NJ. Other states have them in both east/west and north/south. Both are toll roads here.
