I tend to find it creepy as fuck. I mean, there are better ways to remember your pet by and to pay a tribute to them. For instance, having a painting of your pet and stuff like that.
To me, many pets are like a family member... they have basically the same value to me as any human family member, even if they are not human. And would any of you guys think it's tasteful or respectful to use taxidermy on your deceased relatives, and turn them into a machine? I think most people would say no.
