Yeah I held hands with my best buds all the time as a young kid too. Of course there was this one crazy Fundie lady on the street where we used to live, who freaked out and told us that all that hand holding was going to lead to deviant behavior and into Sin. I was also something of a tomboy at that age, so I hated wearing pink and skirts. So of course she was completely convinced that I was doomed to become a butch lesbian because I didn't act like a proper girl. She also didn't want me to spread the gayness around. *rolls eyes* Clearly, some fundies have a weird idea of how homosexuality works. and plus, when I was at the age of a toddler I used to want to wear my dresses all the time... I loved them so much but then I grew out of them. does that mean I'm a lipstick lesbian??

It was thanks to her, that I got the early talk about the existence of Homosexuality and stuff from my mom because I asked her why that lady acted in such a way... and just exactly what a Lesbian was. Needless my mom was pissed off that the fundie introduced such an concept to me because she wanted me to not know about that sort of thing until I was at least a teenager. Because as an teen, I could clearly understand what was going on and accept it. Mom pretty much chewed out the fundie woman for it.
