And speaking of assholes in the news, this is a sad tale of bad luck, terrible conditions, and a failure of the chain of command. Obviously someone is responsible, and that someone is Princess Cruises. I would really like to know what eventually shakes down about all this.
I was never a navy man, but know that the very first law of the seas is that no matter who you are, where you are headed, or what the issue, it is written in stone that you always stop to rescue someone in trouble. To me, someone is criminally responsible for failure to do his/her duty.
