It says that in the news that she helped run the clinic. It would have to take a special kind of woman who wouldn't mind the fact that her husband was spawning his babies all over the place even though no sex took place. or the fact that with every baby born, there was a higher chance that their own biological children would accidentally have an incestuous relationship with one of their half-siblings unless they moved out of the area and lived halfway across the world.
