It sure looked like she left him a farewell note but that was the night after she told him that she accepted his career choice and that she'd never feel the same toward another man in her life. Kind of out of the blue if she left.
Was it just me or did Dewey look a whole hell of a lot like Heath Ledger in the Crank-ish scenes when he's back out on the street after he thought his kidneys had been removed? And yeah, I always thought they took them out through the back. His line "so I had four kidneys?!?" was classic Dewey. I love that guy.
