0 Just off the top of my head, they attempted two movie version of Dean Koontz's "Watchers" which was one of my all time favorite books way back when, and they completely messed up both. It's been so long, I don't remember the specifics but for one, one of the movies starred Corey Haim... there weren't any teenaged boys in the story and they certainly weren't all cute and quirky.
