If all I had to go on was the news and the videos in those links I provided, I'd still stand by my feeling the spray was excessive. But since more than one news source LIED and then made it impossible to find a proper video at the time I posted (when the story was hot), I had no choice but to go by what I saw and read.

really you did have something other to go by than the snipped video, I laid out all of the proceedure for you that would lead up to the use of pepper.
