Sure they are entitled to free speech, but not at the expense of other peoples rights.
They are entitled to protest, but not on a walkway if that's what you want to call it, and why do others have to go around them, is it possible that the route is a fire lane?emegency vehicle route?
And if that is a campus security car, was it campus police that sprayed them or regular police force officers?
I personally didn't see anything wrong with the action or the distance that they were sprayed at, the officer had good control of the pepper can and put it in their faces like he was trained to do.
with no sound who knows what was said to these people before they were sprayed or how many time it was said and what rule they were told they were violating, who knows what they said to the officers and how many people were behind the line that were being incited by their actions, I guess the cops should have let it go to the point of having to shoot a few of them before breaking it up.
