It's snowing in upstate NY and I just picked a zucchini and a strawberry out of my garden.
This has been the weirdest growing season for veggies I've ever had. Nothing all summer and now that I pulled tomato plants out and the peppers, zucchini revamped itself. Cukes just stopped two days ago and I pulled the cherry tomatoes out over the weekend and put the green fruit in a bag to ripen indoors.
Strawberries should be done by the end of August for everbearing and I'm getting new fruit daily. The zucchini barely grew all summer due to the excessive heat and I thought they were about done and one day they spring up and I'm lousy with veggies.
