My turn today to go to the surgery to collect requested prescriptions.
I KNOW it is rude to listen in on other peoples conversations but when they are talking so loud it can be difficult.
I only got the end of the talk, which maybe makes it worse.
Old boy stood at the counter with another man who looked as if he was doing some maintenance work.
'Well, it's really good to see you after so long'
'Yes it is, How is Lou theses days?'
'She works at Poole hospital now in the mortuary'
'What is she doing there'
'Oh you know, office work, paperwork dealing with funeral homes. She was only saying the other day she hasn't see you'
''No I haven't got there' Pause........(I had to pick up a leafet quick to read here)
I must get to see her soon'
OMG did I have trouble checking my prescription list, I had a tissue in my mouth. Susie asked if I was going down with a cold
'Allergy' was all I could squeak.
This is the God's honest truth.
