Well at least they got 2 rounds of racing in yesterday before the moisture moved in. At 4:20 hey decided to cancel the semi final and final rounds for the day. They will run them today at starting at 11 AM and fast track as much as they can. I won't be going down due to the costs of food and gas (just plain out of operating money) but it might prove to be some damn good racing.
Yesterday there was some wild assed passes due to the track conditions. It was pretty cold and that made for awfully good performance from the engines but it was just a few degrees too cold for the track temp to get where it was really sticky. It wasn't slick like when it gets too hot but was right on the edge of where it would have been really good adhesion. Some of the cars simply overpowered the track farther down and at speed it made for some exciting shit!
Imagine alcohol funnycars bouncing so hard that the right rear wheel had air between the tire and track at 235 MPH! A bunch of detonated nitromethane engines followed and the pro stock bikes were a little squirrely down track.
