That's pretty cool. I've been inside a shuttle last time I was in Florida. Took a trip south of Daytona to Cocoa Beach to NASA before heading home. Was pretty damn cool to see it up front and personal.
Also if you all are interested in this kind of stuff, Virginia has a space center you can go to for a hands on interaction as well. I forget the name but it's on the direct path to Chincoteague Island, you can't miss it!
