I bet Havoc knows all about that rock. Doesn't he collect them?
I have the same handlebar bag. Fucking zipper sucks on it otherwise it's working fine for me for an el-cheapo bag. My new bag is nice and I'm happy with it. It's narrow enough that I don't scrape my thighs on it on every downstroke.
I like your bungee idea!
I now understand what you're talking about the steadiness of the hitch in the receiver. Unfortunately, that screw thing is not an option for me. I am going to have to hit Hect again and have them fabricate something for me. That aluminum hole is going to stretch mighty fast from rocking like that and that's going to cause problems. The hitch pin is already nicked up from it. They'll get me something solid and one piece of iron and it'll fit much better into that sleeve or they'll make me a 3" to 1 1/2" reduction rod. It could stand to come out straight out of the hitch instead of angled too. Be easier for me to lift the bike off that way.
