I'm about ready to go with either textured wall paper or throwing a layer of sheetrock over this. What a fucking mess!
I got 3/4 of two walls sanded and I gave up. I've got blue snot now due to breathing in this shit. Masks are useless. I've got the exhaust fan going.
The glue you see on the walls only softens with the sander. SO, I'd have to sand, scrape and skim coat then resand smooth again.
I can't. I just don't have it in me. I'll miter the trim and frame the window and doors but I'm not going to do sheetrock and sanding again.
Matt's going to call his friend to come look at this and make a suggestion. He is a sheetrock / skim coat guy and I'm hoping he can wall paper. I'll just pick a nice white on white slightly textured pattern and go with it. It'll look nice and hide all that shit under there. Let the next person to buy the house gut the room and 'rock it.
