I had band practice so I just couldn't be there. We start at 11 AM and go till between 3 and 4 PM.
I hope everyone had a good time and racked up lots of points.
My entire week looks to be fucked up. They have me coming in at 11 AM and MAYBE my load will be ready to go. Then I have to run to Boyertown and then to Elizabeth. If it's ready I won't be able to roll till 11:15 at the earliest. This translates as follows: 2 hrs to Boyertown puts me there at 1:15, at least 1 hr to unload/reload then a few mins to close up the trailer and get my paperwork current so 1:30 is a likely roll time. 2 - 2 1/4 hrs to Elizabeth making my arrival at 3:45 PM. IF I can find an empty trailer right away I will leave Elizabeth at 4:00 to 4:15. It's a 3 hr ride back from there in good traffic conditions but given the time of day it will likely take 4 or more hrs! So that makes it around 8:15 till I get to the shop to fuel the truck and trailer. Then on to the plant to drop and return to the shop with the tractor to park and complete paperwork. I should leave the shop around 9:30 and get home at
10 PM!!!!!!!
Now D.O.T. regulations mandate that I must be off duty for a minimum 10 hours so based on a 9:15 time of going off duty I won't be able to start again until 7:30 AM on Tuesday. Fuckin' A........I like to get going at between 3 and 4 AM!
You can bet your ass that I won't get a load starting at 7:30 so I'll be screwed yet again and probably will for the rest of the week. DAMN!
Realize that my estimates are based on everything going rather well. One fuckup and it all turns to even bigger shit than it already is.
