Sweet! I 
the Ramones. Used to see Joey all the time roaming around downtown. Partied with them at CBGB along with many stars of all sorts back then. That's what I love about NYC - there's no paparazzi, no hoity toity attitude with stars who live in the city. Fans don't swarm on them like a bunch of squirrels with switchblades, you just say "Hello" and it's actually returned.
If I had the '70's to live over again, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Jeasus, just hearing Ramones an Rock & Roll HS brought back a flood of great memories. Thanks Twist - it'll get me through the boring volunteer work today!
