Well I went out my bike and rode up to the woodland memorial grounds with the hope of some inspiration for Christine's name plaque.
I was 'being followed' by a man who caught me up and promised we were just heading for the same area of the park. I told him what I was doing and he said 'come down and see my son's stone, my ex-wife chose it'. Then he saw his wife and ex-mother-in-law were there. I declined but he insisted and said he actually got on with his ex' ok. So he told her what I was doing, looking at plaques and stones and she said she wished she had done that before she decided on the stone. 'In loving memory of Steven'. Not very original she agreed, since about 80% of the plaques had that written on them. They told me he died at age 28 of a viral infection to his heart. He doubled in weight when he went to university and at 26 had a heart attack and heart surgery. Sadly two years later on a canal boating holiday he was taken ill and died a few days later.
So after not really getting many ideas I went and buzzed the holiday traffic out to the cliffs and looped out to the military grounds, saw how clear the view was out to sea and buzzed the traffic queueing to get off the only road from the Purbecks along with some other bikes and thrashed the bike home for a good ole english cuppa.
