OK you all know I'm in that Marlboro contest for that bike and money.
The money would be nice but I'm counting more on the bike.
I need to be clear on the rules - so I'm posting them below.
Please read them and let me know your interpretation on the division of points. By my understanding, we all have the same amount of points to spend. We have a grand total of 1600 points. So by their rules, does this mean we each can redeem 1600 points or we have to split it.
I'm taking the wording as we each have 1600 points to redeem individually. How do you all take this?
Here's how the gear offer works:
the first four clues presented during each clue round will count toward Gear Points whack may be used to redeem gear items. All 5 clues presented during each clue round can earn you Bonus Points for Gear Items.
A correct answer to a clue can earn each Team Member 25, 50 or 75 Gear Points, depending on the clue's level of difficulty
Each Team Member will earn 2 bonus points for each answer their team submits, up to 10 bonus points per peek, regardless of whether the answer submitted is correct or incorrect. If an answer is not submitted, bonus points will not be awarded.
Each Team Member will earn the same Gear/Bonus Points [collectively "Gear Offer Points"] based on the answers submitted. For example, if a team earns 85 gear points in a clue round, 85 gear points will be added to EACH team member's gear offer point balance.
Team Member balances will be updated with gear offer points [earned from the previous week's answer submissions] every Thursday on a weekly basis beginning on 10/4/10.
Accrued gear offer points can be redeemed for gear items at the Outwit Gear Shop.
Gear offer points must be redeemed by 11:59:59 on 1/11/2011, at which time any and all remaining gear offer points will expire and will be deemed null and void.
Gear offer points are not transferable and have no cash or monetary value.
Gear offer points have no bearing on the competition standings.
