Scruffy is a big old fatty now.
He still has some breathing issues. He weases and stuff, he's had a couple of steroid shots and that seems to help. We will start giving him shots ourselves next time he needs one.
We were told that he should be OK, but he might not live as long as you would expect because of whatever is going on in his lungs.
He has been to the vet half a dozen times, on antibiotics, some other powder stuff, etc...the steroids seem to help though. If a shot a month is all it takes to keep him breathing easy it's not that much of a problem.
They love the basement this time of the year, we keep it about 60 degrees down there for them and warmer when I go down to work on bikes. I always plan on building a second story on their hutch but never get motivated enough to do it.
