Those camp-out-so-I-can-be-there-at-opening shitheads are too fucking cheap to get the decent stuff for generally just a few bucks more earlier in the year.
I tend to shop throughout the year or use online shopping sites. If I hit the stores it's the afternoon of the 24th to see if I can score a last minute deal and the stores usually are vacant of those assholes. My other deal is to go to the after Christmas clearance racks to get some shit for next to nothing since the stores want to get it the hell out of there to make way for spring/summer stuff.
