He should. My old vet was a virtual miracle worker. One of my cats, Thing 1 turned yellow on me a couple of years ago. They wanted to do all kinds of tests (his associates) and then Doc Hudson took a look at her and told me that the treatment for whatever was suspected is the same whether they did the punch biopsy or not. So we treated her. 3 months later she was back to normal and at full weight again.
Sadly my vet has an inoperable brain tumor and his practice has gone to shit. He can't keep a good vet there for more than a couple of weeks at a time and the guy just isn't ready to give up and sell the practice. I guess it's the only thing that keeps him hanging in there.
I switched vets because I need one I can trust to be there on the follow up visits.
Anyway, the six of my cats keep the dogs on their toes here! The poor dogs get slapped around too often for grins and giggles!
