You start with at least 3 images, one over exposed, 1 under, and 1 in the somewhere in middle. I used 8 instead of the mandatory 3.
Then you use photoshop or a similar program to combine the pics taking highlights and shadows out of each to make an image closer to what the eye sees, or if you want something surreal.

It looks better than our place, which needs pointing/rendering/painting and gutters haven't been done for the winter.
Rip off the old pine siding, get the rest of those rocks off the one corner (everywhere you see exposed plywood used to be covered in rocks). Replace the exposed rotting plywood. and cover it in new plain wood siding painted gray with a darker blue gray trim like the back half of the house.
