The apple made me smile, but the chef in the house took one look and said 'That is over cooked', but like that it would be hard to do anything else. He hates doing pig roasts and barbeques for public events. He gets hotter than in a kitchen and smelly with the smoke off the wood.
I'm used to them spinning on a spit, no head or trotters and the apple sauce sadly is always disappointing (except at bike night 'cos that is real apple pureed, not tinned!)
