LOL! Joan she is only 5! She knows her way to the chemist without it. Her mother took it away when she started prodding people.
She has just started school and although she is a sweetie she is a bit precocious sometimes and needs to be brought into line. He mum said only after two weeks she was called into the Headmistresses office for shouting out answers in class and bossy the others about. She is at a normal school that takes blind and partially sighted.
The school my kids went to had a deaf unit so many of the local kids can also do sign language. Christine had a deaf friend and her signing was very good, she found it useful in noisy nightclubs.
