I just watched this too. Yes the storyline line was a tree-hugging event. Cameron even said it was a "green" movie and was proud that it was.
I thought the guy also stayed behind cuz he got a new set of wheels.

Anyhoo, I liked this movie better than Crazyheart. I am not sure what the academy finds appealing about people who are so freaking defective. It is a drunk, country singer. Ummmmm-please tell me how this is a good or original story? OK-now I highjacked your thread, but since I did Biggrin has anyone else seen it and what did you think?
