No fresh flowers. They have to be mainly white for Whitsun. It is my mother's parish, but I see it as mine too.
The stairs are a nice feature, they go up to more seating and the organ. The church is typically laid out as a cross, with the alter in the middle and everyone can seat around it. Although the seating behind the alter faces the Lady Chapel in the North Knave. It was built in 1960 but the 12 bells have only just been completed!
The window is plain if you can see in the Lady Chapel at the end. It over looks a wonderful Oak tree.
