Yep total vote It's an Egret. They used to be a rare passing bird lost from a storm at sea. Birds get blown off course a lot on the Jurassic coast and find the local area a haven. The Egrets ahve colonised on Brownsea Island, which has a perfect inland tidal lake for them. It is so weird to see, local sea birds with the only colony of Avocets and now Egrets in the UK together.
