We have a system "designed" and it'll work easy enough.... it's just I'm the one going to wind up making that cement aqueduct and running the pipe to the drain. Pipe running is easy but I'll need several check valves because it's a long run, several bends and uphill 5 feet to the drain. I want as little water standing in the pipe as possible to avoid the stink.
It's chipping the hole where it needs to go that worries me. I don't know how far past that column in the wall goes. There is no low spot really. Where it gathers is under / at the bottom of the stairs and it's not really designed to be a low spot that way. I think it's just the way it settled after all these years.
