Lately I have been craving a Diet Coke or Pepsi fountain soda. I don't know why. I don't drink soda all that often. I had to run to Kohl's today and there is a McD's right there so I got a Diet Coke. Ahhhh.

What is it about a fountain soda that is so much better than a bottle of soda?

I rarely drink pop these days, but on the rare occasion I do I prefer Coca Cola, ice cold in a glass bottle as a treat.

Fountain soda is crap. They never get the mix right and it's never as fizzy as the factory packaged product.

BS, Ice cold Coca Cola is the best and NEVER out of a can. Glass bottles if you can find them are the best.

I like an occasional Mountain Dew when I'm really tired at work, but I generally can't stand soda.

I actually like to make my own when I crave sweet soda. My usual is Coke or Ginger Ale (HAS to be Seagrams) but orange juice and seltzer makes a great treat and the benefit of orange juice. Any fruit juice will work.

McD's always has the best Diet Coke. I don't know why. And a large Diet Coke and a large fry is the best hangover remdey too.

Coca Cola always tastes better out of a glass bottle, much better than from a can or plastic bottle, I don't know why but it does.

There is a small utility room in my house that I use as a den, I have a mini fridge in there where I always keep some Coca Cola in glass bottles and a couple of bottles of Beaujolais.

I've always thought the same exact thing, except I wouldn't know anything about the hangover remedyBiggrin.

Crusty Italian bread dipped in strong balsamic vinegar is a great hangover remedy.

That sounds freakin' delicious. Gonna have to stop for some crusty bread on way home.....think I'll throw some olive oil on the plate for good measure.
