Well, I don't blame them really, as you currently have the embodiment of Sodom in the form of the US State Dept. constantly trying to rearrange their country by promoting homosexuality and gay rights (always an important foreign policy objective these days). Want to resist Western, globalistic influence? Tell the citizenry that the people being promoted by a pseudo-imperialistic nation eat shit. No one likes people who eat shit, and thus, no one will listen to whatever crap the West throws at them.

Laugh at them all you want, but you have to note the absurdity of US foreign policy, and maybe consider this an effective way to resist foreign influences.

This also begs the issue of how has embracing sodomy and homosexuality really helped us anyhow? I don't see any net benefits aside from one more group that uses special interest status to bully everyone else.

I don't give a shit what the US Foreign policy is. Gays are being slaughtered for being gay and that's the crux of the problem. I always find it funny... I know several homosexual people of both genders. None, and I mean none, of them throw their sexuality in other peoples' faces, yet heterosexual people who are anti-homosexual always throw it in everyone's faces. To me this is a cut and dried issue of, "So long as they aren't bothering you, don't bother them". In other words, stop minding everyone else's motherfucking business and worry about your own damn self. But no, it seems this nation's people [in general] can't ever do that.
