0 Some pretty cool medieval style steel there Viz. Did your dad ever try his hand at any maces or flails?

0 I've not had time at all for almost 8 months to do anything to these. Right now I'm contemplating blueing them because the steel used starts rusting again in a day.
I'm trying to decide is i should for a blueish finish or just make it straight black. I do want the blade and the hilt to be different colors, not sure how to do this as seeing the whole thing is welded together. 0 Have you thrown a thin coat of 10W40 on it while not using it? I used to do that to the engine on my bike when I packed it up for the winter to prevent pitting on the fins.
