My axle broke tonight

Yup..........I knew the boot was ripped and that the knuckle would get contaminated with dirt so, on the way home tonight it broke 3 miles from my house. It was my number 3 car so in the driveway it goes and now I gotta use my truck till I can fix it, I'm just glad it was'nt on the highway. A 1999 Stratus with 80,000 miles on it. Its in the driveway now after some finagling.

At least you have something that can be fixed LH. My truck is gone.
I can't find a replacement of equal merit with the money they're giving me AND I have to sue the mechanic for what I had to pay for a clutch for no good reason.

Well......at least CV shaft replacements are only between $100 and $200 and pretty easy to do. It takes longer to pull the wheel and brake assembly off than it does to do the shaft.
